The Account Advocate role is a fast-paced, busy job that requires you to be a project manager and handle communications between customers, managers, and various internal departments. You are a project manager, sales operations professional and customer service maven all at once. Account Advocate Position Summary:
Oxco is growing and we are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, hard-working individual to join our team! We are seeking a full time Account Advocate who wants to grow with us. This position pays a base salary plus commission and company-paid employee benefits.  The Account Advocate plays a critical role in providing an interface between customers and the various departments and personnel of the company.  The person who fills this role also acts as a project manager, overseeing and driving to completion the various steps of the sales process.  It is important to maintain positive relationships and contacts with current and potential customers (both internal and external) through excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Be customer-centric and the advocate for the customer, constantly communicating their needs to all departments within Oxco, and following-up to ensure a timely response.
  • Communicate with the customer on order status, shipping schedule, and changes as they occur.
  • Work cooperatively with account managers (outside sales) and other support team members (purchasing, production, shipping, etc.) to achieve customer satisfaction. Provide account relevant updates to account managers as required.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with product management/purchasing/sales to verify availability of stock and any price changes.
  • Data entry including orders, record changes, NAV updates (ERP system)
  • Assist with other tasks such as:  File incoming BOL’s, credit memos, all order entry, updating NAV & Word Quotes, make sure customers receive TDS & COA’s
  • Report any issues or concerns that arise during day-to-day work to the Vice President of Sales

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years’ sales coordination, account management experience
  • Freight or logistics experience is a big plus

Position: Machine Operator, Production

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Description: This position performs the tasks associated with nonwoven converting machine operation which includes setup and operation. The position in this position is cross-trained and is fluent in setup, operation, and troubleshooting the various equipment to produce a quality product that meets customer expectations.  The machine operator can independently perform these tasks with minimal input form the production shift supervisor and is available to train machine helpers and basic machine operators in the setup of individual machines through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs any of the machine operations as assigned by the team lead or production supervisor
  • Has the ability and proficiency to setup and operate their assigned machine
  • Works in a quality-conscious and safe manner
  • Has the ability to perform work at process speed and/or standard rates
  • Advises supervisor of any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, materials, or setup.
  • Maintains daily production and scrap records.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the production shift supervisor
  • Keeps work station and surrounding area clean
  • Maintains all assigned tools.
  • Any other duties as required by management
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years' work experience in related field is a plus
  • Must be able to read, write, and count in English.
  • Good hand-eye coordination. Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Follow all plant and departmental sfaety rules.
These roles are scheduled for second shift (3pm-11pm) or third shift (11p-7am).

Position:  Machine Operator Helper, Production

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Description: This position assists the Machine Operator in the performance of tasks associated with nonwoven converting machine operation which includes setup and operation. The employee in this position is training to become fluent in setup, operation, and troubleshooting the various equipment to produce a quality product that meets customer expectations. The Machine Helper is responsible for any task that will aid the Machine Operator in minimizing downtime between runs and order changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Process orders according to specifications on work order packet.
  • Quality Control - serve as a material inspector
  • Prepare packaging materials
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the production shift supervisor
  • Keeps work station and surrounding area clean
  • Maintains all assigned tools
  • Any other duties as required by management
Qualifications:
  • 6-months' of work experience in related field is a plus
  • Must be able to read, write, and count in English
  • Good hand-eye coordination. Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Follow all plant and departmental safety rules

Position:  Account Manager, Sales

Location: USA, remote position

Description: The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for supporting the client’s adoption and continued satisfaction with the company’s products and solutions.  The Account Manager is the primary “face” to the customer from inception to closure.  The AM takes ownership of the company’s relationship with the customer’s technical and non technical teams, providing consultation and guidance aimed at ensuring their successful experience with the end product.  The AM serves as an internal advocate for the customer, helping drive support and change when necessary, to help the customer achieve their business objectives. This position supports all aspects of customer contact and relationships based on the fundamentals of integrity selling and Oxco’s Core Values.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum  5 years of highly successful sales experience with a champion track record
  • Minimum of 2 or more years related experience in the Non-Woven industry
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Secure new business leads by cold calling
  • Manage your assigned accounts and develop broader opportunities within those accounts
  • Daily/weekly management of activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results
  • Drive sales activities in the territory consistent with best practices
  • Develop, negotiate and close long-term agreement with accounts
